Jewellery
This section contains all jewellery available at the moment. I do not mass-produce maille, so usually there is only one copy of each design available at any given moment and when a piece is sold, I make a new copy of it only upon request. This gives me more time to create new designs, and also makes it possible for me to custom-fit all pieces to the customer's specifications. So if you see a piece you like and it is still in stock, you'll get it sent to you straight away (if no alterations are needed); if it has been sold, it will take some time for me to make a duplicate but it is still available. Prices are in euros (€); for other currencies, please use the currency converter. The price given for each item is the price of that specific piece. If the item has been sold and you want an exact duplicate, the price will be the same; if the piece is altered (longer/shorter, different metal, added/removed beads etc.) the price will be slightly higher or lower, and so on.
Please note: stainless steel contains some nickel (close to 10 %). Hypoallergenic surgical steel is available for some ring sizes; other silvery-grey metals suitable for nickel-sensitive persons are titanium and niobium, which are both hypoallergenic. All earring hooks and posts are nickel-free. The type of the clasp used in each piece of jewellery is mentioned in its description; for further information on the various types of clasps as well as metals, weaves, ring sizes etc., see the Information page.
To make browsing easier, the pieces of jewellery have been divided into categories:
- Bracelets - pieces ranging from simple wrist chains to "almost-armour" bracers and showy handflowers
- Necklaces - everything that goes around the neck: tight-fitting chokers, looser necklaces, chains and various pendants
- Earrings - all earrings
- Rings - to adorn the fingers
- Sets - both made-to-match sets of jewellery and suggestions for pieces that might go together nicely
There is no separate section for men's jewellery, but several of the bracelets and chains as well as the rings are unisex, and the heavier pieces, especially, have been designed with male customers in mind. Also, most of the weaves can be made from lighter or heavier rings, giving a very variable look (and feel) to chains, for example.
And if you do not find what you're looking for, I can always (or at least often) make alterations to the existing pieces or create a new design according to your wishes.
