  • Stainless (and surgical) steel
    Stainless steel is one of my favourite materials for jewellery. It has several nice qualities: it has a nice silvery-grey colour, it is strong and it does not tarnish; it is also rather heavy with a nice, substantial feel. Stainless steel comes in several alloys:
